What is on-line banking?
With On-line banking, you can conduct through your personal computer many of the transactions you typically do at a branch or ATM. By downloading information from your eligible AmboyNET accounts, you can check your balance, see what checks have been paid, transfer funds between accounts, and perform numerous other banking transactions-all from your home, office, or anywhere you have access to the Internet.

What is on-line bill paying?
On-line bill paying enables you to pay your bills using AmboyNET. Amboy Bank maintains an extensive list of companies and merchants who are set up to receive electronic payments. We send a check to those who cannot. Once you sign up and tell us what bills you want to pay through AmboyNET, we contact the company or merchant to verify your account number. When you're ready to make payments, you enter the information through AmboyNET. Be sure to allow at least 6 days for your payment to reach the merchant.

What if I want to pay a company or merchant who is not on the AmboyNET list?
Let us know whom you want to pay and we will contact the merchant for verification. It generally takes about 10 days for a new vendor to be added. Once the merchant has been responded, you will be notified.

What charges are associated with AmboyNET?

AmboyNET banking is free. There are no charges for routine banking transactions. When you use the Bill Payer option, the first two months are free. After that, there is a monthly charge of $5.95.

What do I need to get started with AmboyNET?

You need an Amboy Bank checking account, a personal computer, modem and Internet access and any Internet Browser supporting JavaScript and Html 3.2. If you need to open an Amboy Bank checking account, complete an application at www.amboybank.com or stop by any branch. When can I start using AmboyNET?

Within 3 to 5 days after submitting the on-line enrollment form at www.amboybank.com, you will receive an AmboyNET welcome kit with your AmboyNET access code and PIN (personal identification number). As soon as you have these security codes, you may begin using AmboyNET.

What accounts can I access with AmboyNET?

AmboyNET gives you summary and detailed information on all of your Amboy checking, savings, money market, time deposits (CDs), IRAs and loan accounts.

How current are my account balances?

Your account balances on AmboyNET reflect branch deposits made by 2:00 pm the previous day. Transfers made on AmboyNET are immediately reflected in your balances.

What if I need help with AmboyNET?

Pull-down menus, point and click technology, and help screens make AmboyNET easy to use. If you need help, you may call Amboy Direct at 1-800-94-AMBOY and speak to a customer service representative. Amboy Direct hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm; Friday from 8:30 to 5:00 pm; and on Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

What is AmboyNET e-mail?

AmboyNET e-mail is an electronic mail system that enables you to send e-mail messages to us and to receive e-mail from us. This e-mail feature is private and secure, allowing you to send confidential information. The AmboyNET e-mail system is separate from any other e-mail application you may use.

How long does it take Amboy to respond to my e-mail?

Amboy Direct, our customer service center, in most cases, will reply to your e-mail within 24 hours of receipt.

How secure is AmboyNET?

AmboyNET asks for your access code and PIN every time you begin a session. Access to your account is only available when your access code and PIN match-exactly. AmboyNET uses powerful encryption technology available through Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) as enabled through the webserver. This advanced technology prevents any one without your access code and PIN to monitor your account.

How can I improve my viewing of AmboyNET?

If you are experiencing problems viewing AmboyNET, we recommend you check the screen resolution you are using on PC and the version of your browser. The best screen resolution for viewing is at least 800 X 600 pixels. AmboyNET supports the latest versions of Microsoft Explorer (at least version 4.01 or higher), Netscape Navigator (at least version 4.00 or higher) and AOL (at least version 4.00 or higher).
