2018 Food Drive

Donate Food at Amboy Bank Branches

Amboy Bank branches will be collecting food and household items for local food banks throughout October and November.  The below are the typically most needed items:

  • Protein: Canned Soup, Tuna, Meat, Peanut Butter, Nuts and Canned Beans
  • Canned Fruits & Vegetables, including Juices and Tomato Sauce
  • Carbohydrates: Nutritious Breakfast Cereals, Pasta, Rice
  • Crackers, Granola Bars and Cheese & Cracker Packages
  • Canned Stews and Chili
  • Baby formula

Some other things to remember:

  • Please make sure the items are not expired  
  • Item’s Use By or Best if Sold By date should be at least six months in the future
  • No glass jars please

Gregory Scharpf, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, stated "Thanks to the support of our generous clients and neighbors and with the efforts of our associates, the food drive has been a huge success in the past and we expect the same success this year. While items can be dropped off throughout November, we will be distributing our collectables in time for Thanksgiving. We invite our neighbors to drop off items at one of our local branches."

Amboy Bank staffs branches throughout Middlesex and Monmouth Counties. If you are able to make a donation, please drop by November 30!
