2020 Food Drive
2020 Food Drive
October 29, 2020
Throughout November, all
branches of Amboy Bank
will collect food and household items for food banks and organizations in each area. Every Amboy Branch Manager has selected the food bank or organization. In many cases, Amboy has a strong relationship with the organizations, including St. Laurence Food Bank, Lunch Break and Freehold Open Door.
Gregory Scharpf, President and CEO, stated, “At Amboy Bank, we are dedicated to helping our local community prosper, and we are proud to lend a helping hand to our neighbors who need it most. Our annual food drive will help to restock the shelves of the food banks in our area.”
Donations can be dropped off at Amboy branch vestibules or lobbies. Here are some suggestions for donations:
Gift cards to local grocery stores
Protein: Canned Soup, Tuna, Meat, Peanut Butter, Nuts and Canned Beans
Canned Fruits & Vegetables, including Juices and Tomato Sauce
Carbohydrates: Nutritious Breakfast Cereals, Pasta, Rice
Crackers, Granola Bars and Cheese & Cracker Packages
Canned Stews and Chili
Please watch for expiration dates. Food items' Use By or Best if Sold By date should not be over six months old. No glass jars please. Boxed cereals and formula are needed, as long as they are unopened and within date code.
