Amboy Bank Celebrates Older Americans Month

Every May, we celebrate Older Americans Month to recognize and acknowledge older Americans and to pay tribute to the seniors that have given back to their communities. Every U.S. President since Kennedy has issued a formal proclamation for Older Americans Month asking the nation to pay tribute to a senior in their community.
For over 130 years, Amboy Bank has been committed to helping the seniors in our local NJ communities enter their retirement years with the dignity they deserve, helping them age in place, allowing them to have more flexibility while on a fixed income and improving the quality of their lives. In addition to one-of-a-kind product offerings for in-retirement living, Amboy continually offers free, in-person events at branches aimed at assisting seniors with programs and reviewing topics that are especially pertinent to them. Most recently, Amboy held a Senior Fair throughout the month of April, covering topics such as Benefits Check-Up, Senior Property Tax Freeze, Senior Fraud and Amboy Senior Loans. Attendees had the opportunity to hear the latest news, gather information, receive fun giveaways and meet on-on-one with Amboy associates for individualized assistance.
