Celebrating Peggy Ann Dembowski’s 60 Years at Amboy Bank

Peggy Ann Dembowski, Senior Vice President, Cashier and Trust Officer, has celebrated her 60
th Anniversary at Amboy Bank.
Peggy, a resident of Sayreville, joined the bank in June 1960 in the Accounting department and has continued to assume increased responsibilities over the years, culminating in being approved as a Senior Vice President of the Bank by the Board of Directors.
“Peggy Dembowski has been invaluable to Amboy Bank during her remarkable career. She has always been willing to fill a need, lead by example, and represent what Amboy is for generations of clients and associates,” said Greg Scharpf, Amboy Bank President and CEO. “Peggy has been, and continues to be, a dedicated employee and a friend and mentor to so many at Amboy.”
A graduate of St. Mary’s High School in South Amboy, she holds an Associate’s degree in Accounting from Marywood College and holds certifications in many Banking areas.
Ten years ago, the Amboy Bank Board of Directors adopted June 10
th as “Peggy Ann Dembowski Day” in honor of her 50
th anniversary with Amboy. Ten years later, the Bank is just as proud.
Ten years ago, George Scharpf, former Amboy Bank President and CEO, presents Peggy Ann Dembowski, Senior Vice President, with a plaque declaring June 10, 2010 “Peggy Ann Dembowski Day” in honor of her 50 years of service at the bank.
