Browse Securely On Your Smartphone

Smartphones have made many things, like paying bills on the go, more convenient, but it also means protecting your phone’s security is that much more essential. One of the most common and easy ways a phone’s information can be accessed by cybercriminals is by connecting to any open WiFi network. An open WiFi network does not require a password or encryption, meaning utilizing public WiFi allows anyone nearby an ability to easily steal your online activity.

If you login to any accounts that require a password or sensitive information, such as your bank account, while on a public WiFi, know that these accounts can be spied on. By taking the simple precaution of only connecting to a secure network you know and trust, you can better prevent your most valuable information stored on your smartphone from becoming public.
